Laura Fearnley
Hello! I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at Charles University (Prague), as part of a PRIMUS project investigating the ethics of social roles. I completed my PhD at the University of Glasgow in January 2023.
I primarily work on ethics, causation and AI. My doctoral project – What Would Have Been and What Should Have Been: The Interdependence of Causation and Morality – brought some of these themes together. My current work focuses on praise/blame and moral responsibility, as well as how to build Artificial Moral Agents using a causal framework.
